A quote from Bush's response to a question regarding the U.S. policy toward Iran in a speech given yesterday at Johns Hopkins University:
The doctrine of prevention is to work together to prevent the Iranians from having a nuclear weapon. I know — I know here in Washington prevention means force. It doesn't mean force, necessarily. In this case, it means diplomacy. And by the way, I read the articles in the newspapers this weekend. It was just wild speculation, by the way. What you're reading is wild speculation, which is — it's kind of a — happens quite frequently here in the nation's capital. (transcript of entire speech)
There is no way you can avoid the news today referring to Bush's "wild speculation" statement regarding the possibility of an air attack against Iran. Can no one stop this man??? What does he have that makes the citizens in this country afraid to question his actions? He lies and spies and people still blindly follow? There is documentation out there people, pay attention! This president is taking us into the apocalypse! Yes, I'm passionate! Yes, I may sound like a bloomin' radical but the evidence is out there. PEOPLE, PAY ATTENTION!!! He took us into Iraq based on faulty, manipulated bits and pieces of intelligence information that those whose job it is to gather and evaluate that very information were skeptical of and he's doing it again. This man has a messianic complex making him an easy puppet for Cheney and the boys to pull his strings. Now he's trying to get us into another war. President Bush declared himself as a "War President". Bush: "I'm a war president. I make decisions here in the Oval Office in foreign-policy matters with war on my mind. Again, I wish it wasn't true, but it is true. And the American people need to know they got a president who sees the world the way it is. And I see dangers that exist, and it's important for us to deal with them." (from his February 7 [broadcast on 8th], 2004, hour-long Oval Office interview with Tim Russert on NBC's Meet the Press) So he sees himself as a "war president." I guess that means that if there isn't one, he'll start it. If we only have one war going, we'll start a second. If two is good, then three is better! If he attacks Iran we will ALL pay the price! There will be no homeland security. Wake up, people!
